Chase is a media producer (PGA) and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience building and managing large production teams, providing distribution and monetization strategy and helping companies leverage technology to optimize process and production.
For many years, Chase worked as producer/director/DP/editor creating content for PBS, HBO, HDNET, Microsoft, MSG and many more. Chase was also one of two production executives in charge of launching the mediocre show "Hollywood Today Live" on the FOX network.
In the year 2000 Chase was the production manager and engineer of the team that brought the show DemocracyNow to TV where it quickly became the largest independently produced and distributed TV news show in the world. Chase was part of the core team designed the distribution system that bypassed the corporate media paywall by combining state of the art technology with grassroots organizing.
Chase’s directorial debut as a music video director went to #1 on the charts and has been described as a seminal work in the history of HipHop music videos. It is also said to be the first time twerking was on national TV.
Chase teamed up with Oscar nominated director Jon Alpert to build a state of the art production bus (The CyberCar) that was used on multiple innovative documentary and news programs over a decade.
In addition to production, Chase has spent many years working with best of breed technology companies (SaaS). In this capacity, Chase has advised numerous medium and large media companies such as Disney, Microsoft, NBCU, Riot Games, Motor Trend, Carbon Media (and many more) on how to best use technology to boost existing revenue, create new revenue opportunities and cut operating costs.
In 2018 Chase founded the geospatial company Scan2Plan.io which has grown into a national brand.
since leaving scan2plan, Chase started a photography company called tuthilldesign.com and a video production company called Studio C, both based at Utopia Studios in Bearsville, New York
